What this site is for

bernardos.org is Bernardo's informational website: it shows what we make, tells where the company came from, publishes its news and its job openings, and gathers the transparency information it owes for the public funding it has received. It is not a shop — nothing can be bought here — and reading it requires no account and no registration.

The shop belongs to someone else

Shipping from Lanzarote is slow and expensive, so we do not sell directly: the links under «Where to buy» lead to two independent shops, one in the United Kingdom and one in Germany. When you buy from them your contract is with them — prices, shipping costs, delivery times, returns and customer service are theirs, as are their own terms and privacy policy. Bernardo's is not a party to that purchase.

How the site may be used

You are free to read, print and share these pages. What is not allowed is the predictable list: trying to get in where no door has been opened for you, harvesting the content wholesale to publish it elsewhere as your own, introducing malicious code, or using the forms to send advertising or anything unlawful. Whoever causes damage that way answers for it.

Who owns what you see

The texts, photographs, films, label illustrations and the Bernardo's name and logo belong to the company or are used with their author's permission, and publishing them here does not put them in the public domain. If you would like to reproduce an image — in a magazine, a blog, a piece of academic work — write to us: the answer is almost always yes, and all we ask is to know where it will appear.

Third-party marks and content

The institutional crests and logos in the footer belong to the bodies that issue them and appear solely to publicise the grants awarded, as each call for funding requires. The map on the contact page is served by Google Maps and subject to its terms. The marks of the shops we link to belong to their owners.

How far our liability goes

We take care that what is published here is accurate, but a website is not a jar: the binding information on ingredients, allergens, weight and best-before date is the one on the label of the product in your hand. Recipes and formats change, and a page can fall behind. Nor can we promise uninterrupted availability — there is maintenance and there are faults — or answer for the content of the external sites we link to, which we check when the link goes up rather than every day.

Personal data and cookies

What happens to the details you leave in the contact form or when applying for a job is set out in the privacy policy. What your browser stores is in the cookie policy.

Applicable law and courts

This notice and the use of the site are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute falls to the courts of Las Palmas, unless the law recognises another venue: if you are a consumer you keep the right to bring proceedings where you live, and nothing above takes that away.

Changes to this notice

This notice may change when the company's details, the services the site offers or the applicable law change. The date at the foot of the page is the version in force.
